A little about Me:
Developer and Educational Technologist - ie a Developer interested in building next generation of blended learning applications.

Worked in VET and Higher Ed for 10 years (4 years Open Learning Institute of TAFE, 1.5 years Griffith University and 6 years QUT). I have experience in designing and developing Learning Management Systems and plugins/extensions (streaming media, reflective journaling, problem based learning) for Learning Management Systems. In my last year at QUT, I built a tool to translate content and activities from OLT (an in-house built LMS) to Blackboard via the IMS-CP format. As a developer I am passionate about building tools to empower teachers/learners. I am interested in problem based learning, games based learning and social networking and mashups. I recently joined the Innovations Unit at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE as an Applications Developer.
